Texas A&M-Fort Worth will anchor a new innovation district in downtown Fort Worth, creating a mixed-use hub for education, innovation and corporate collaboration. The facilities are designed to foster collaboration between students, researchers, and private industry which will create a pipeline of innovation and talent.

The Vision

Texas A&M-Fort Worth blends Tier 1 research with commercial entrepreneurism. The Texas A&M System values both cutting-edge academic inquiry and practical, market-driven innovation. We will prioritize the creation and dissemination of knowledge, as well as its practical application and commercialization, fostering an environment that encourages both research excellence and business success. Longer term and for the region, we aim to bridge the gap between academia and industry, creating opportunities for students, faculty and the community to collaborate, invent and start new ventures. Our goal is to educate the future workforce for the region.

Law and Education Building

Phase 1 Site Rendering – November 2024

Opening for classes in Fall 2026, the eight-story Law & Education Building (LEB) will be the first completed academic building on the new Texas A&M-Fort Worth campus. It will house programs in law, engineering, health sciences and business that prepare students to lead and serve in a rapidly growing region.

    Research and Innovation Building – A (RIB-A) will anchor public and private research and development on the campus. The planned areas of concentration include engineering, aerospace, agriculture, health sciences and emergency response to just name a few.
